Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai (Hindi: सपना बाबुल का...बिदाई) was an Indian soap drama that aired on 9 October 2007 to 13 November 2010 on STAR Plus channel, every Monday to Friday. This show was really close in reaching the top ten shows of all time on STAR Plus. Since September 2010, the show is aired on an Afghan television channel called Ariana TV, where the drama is translated into Dari Persian. Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai named Culoarea fericirii in Romania premiered on 7 November , 2010 on National TV and it air's every day from 19:15. The show will end on 30 November in Romania.

In Hindi the word bidaai means farewell . It is also the name of a wedding ritual which marks the departure of the bride from her parental home. The theme of the show explores the connotations of this word. The show's title invokes the poignant emotions of a bride's father (baabul) when his beloved daughter leaves for her husband's house after marriage. His joy and relief at seeing her well-settled is mixed with the sorrow and anxiety at being separated. The show narrates the story of a father, his two daughters, and the immense love they have for each other. It also highlights the negative consequences of a widespread tendency among Indians to favour fair skin against dark, especially when choosing brides for their families.
In fact, Sadhana is the niece of Prakash Chandra Sharma (Alok Nath). She is the daughter of his dead sister. Sadhana's father moves to the US to make some money. He leaves Sadhana, around 5 years old, under the care of Prakash Chandra , a literary writer. Prakash Chandra already has a son, Vineet, and a daughter, Ragini. Sadhana has a fair complexion and Ragini is dark. This causes great anxiety to Prakash Chandra's wife Kaushalya. She fears that, because of the general preference for fair skin in society, Ragini will suffer in comparison with Sadhana. Years later, Sadhana's father dies in a plane crash. By now the two girls have grown to a marriageable age. Because of her dark complexion, Ragini (Parul Chauhan) is rejected by many prospective bridegrooms, who usually express their preference for Sadhana (Sara Khan) . This fuels Kaushalya's resentment against Sadhana. However, Sadhana and Ragini love and support each other . Whenever Kaushalya gets angry with Sadhana, Ragini takes her cousin's side. Similarly, when Ragini is hurt by the repeated rejections, Sadhana encourages her to practice dancing to restore her lost confidence.
Prakash Chandra's family is facing financial problems, so Sadhana decides to take up a job. She is employed by the wealthy Rajvansh family as a tutor to their grandchildren Guni and Pratham (the children of Naveen and Avni). The Rajvansh household is ruled by the high-handed Vasundhara (Seema Kapoor). By a twist of fate, Sadhana is forced to marry Vasundhara's mentally unstable elder son, Alekh (Angad Hasija). The Sharma family is unaware of the truth behind Sadhana's selfless decision. Sadhana has posed two conditions to Vasundhara before marrying: her uncle's property will be restored to him and her cousin Ragini will be married to Vasundhara's younger son, Ranvir (Kinshuk Mahajan). Vasundhara fulfils the first condition but is unwilling to meet the second one as she feels the dark-skinned Ragini is not attractive enough for Ranvir. As luck would have it, Ranvir announces that he is already engaged to Sonia; however, the family finds out that she is simply a gold-digger using him for money. Eventually, Ragini and Ranvir fall in love through numerous phones conversations under the aliases of 'Anmol' and 'Anamika'. After numerous hardships (Vasundhara and Kaushalya being opposed to their marriage), the lovers are united.
On her honeymoon, Ragini realizes that her sister has missed out on a normal married life. With her husband's help, she tries to strengthen Alekh and Sadhana's marital relationship. Sadhana and Ranvir try to get medical help so Alekh can again live a normal life. Shlok, a famous psychiatrist, is Alekh's childhood friend and helps to treat him. Alekh begins to show signs of improvement. The family plans to re-enact Sadhana and Alekh's wedding ceremony on a grand scale. However, Alekh starts feeling that he is unworthy of his wife. He asks Shlok to take his place, marry Sadhana and take care of her. Sadhana is aware of this but goes along with the charade to help Alekh. On the day of the wedding ceremony, Alekh realizes that he loves Sadhna madly and cannot live without her. He publicly declares his love and remarries her.
Meanwhile, Ranvir comes to know that somebody from the Rajvansh family is responsible for Alekh's mental instability and starts investigating the mystery. With Sadhana's help, Ranvir recreates the events of the fateful night when his grandfather died and Alekh lost his mental balance. It is revealed that the culprit was none other than Alekh's favourite aunt (chhoti ma) Ambika, the jealous elder sister of Vasundhara. Ambika was dark while Vasundhara was fair. Vasundhara's husband Inderjit was originally to marry Ambika but he preferred the fair-skinned Vasundhara. Hence, Ambika was married to Inderjit's younger brother and continuously suffered from a sense of inferiority. Her hidden insecurity surfaced when she tried to obtain her father-in-law's signature on documents that would give the entire wealth to her son Naveen. When her father-in-law refused, she killed him. Alekh was the only witness to the crime. She manipulated and influenced him to such an extent that he lost his mental balance and became completely dependent on her. When the truth is revealed, Ambika is turned out of the Rajvansh house.
Alekh starts to get better now that he knows the truth. But he starts ignoring Sadhana and she begins to feel a little insecure. Ragini wants to help Sadhana and Alekh come closer but due to her own health issues (she's pregnant) cannot directly help them. She sends Ranvir along with Sadhana and Alekh on a business-cum-pleasure trip. Some goons (sent by Naveen to kill Alekh) misbehave with Sadhna and Ranvir beats them up. One of the goons goes into a coma and Ranvir is sent to jail. Sadhana is the sole witness to this and she must make a tough decision: whether to lie in court and save Ranvir or to side with the truth. Sadhna eventually sides with the truth and Ranvir is sentenced to jail, leaving Ragini, Alekh and Vasundhara very angry and upset with Sadhna. Vasundhara and Kaushalya take advantage of Ragini's emotional weakness at this point in time, with Ranvir in jail, and misguide her into thinking that Sadhna was always jealous of her. Ragini then miscarries by falling down the stairs. The two tragic events in Ragini's life change her perspective completely and she finally starts believing Vasundhara and Kaushalya's negative opinions. Sadhana is held responsible for all the mishaps and is thrown out of Rajvansh House. She gets a job and becomes financially independent. She also gets Ranvir out of jail by getting the injured goon to take back his case. After Ranvir comes out of jail, he attempts to mend the broken relations but Ragini, filled with negativity by this time, wants nothing to do with Sadhana. At the same time, Kaushalya becomes terminally ill and requires an immediate operation which costs 5 lakhs. Only Sadhana and her cousin Vineet (Ragini's brother) know about this. Sadhna participates in a dance contest to win the money. Ragini also participates in the contest to regain her confidence and overcome the depression due to her miscarriage. Unable to see her sister lose, Sadhna deliberately falls down on the stage and loses the competition, choosing her sister's happiness over her own. Now Sadhana agrees to divorce Alekh in return for the money to pay for her aunt's operation (Vasundhara found out about Kaushalya's illness and told Sadhna that she would pay for the operation if Sadhna agreeed to the divorce). Alekh is heartbroken. Vasundhara convinces him to get engaged to a wealthy young woman named Mallika. Ragini comes to know about the sacrifices made by Sadhana. In a heart-wrenching scene, the two sisters sort out their misunderstandings. Ragini and Ranvir, with help from Kaushalya, Vineet and Malti (Vineet's wife), bring out the whole truth on the day of the engagement. Alekh and Sadhana are reunited.
Alekh leaves home because he cannot bear to live in a place where his wife is not respected. He struggles to get a job owing to his lack of education, but is eventually successful. Ranvir, unable to take the injustice meted out to Alekh and Sadhana, leaves home along with Ragini. All four live together happily in a small house until a fire breaks out and Vasundhara gets trapped inside (she came to see them). Sadhana saves her, getting burnt in the process, and Vasundhara changes. Naveen and his wife Avni try to poison Sadhana, but get caught. It is discovered that Avni and Naveen were behind everything that went wrong and they go to jail. Sadhana and Ragini are defamed in a prostitution scandal by their trusted family friend,Anand. Ranvir and Alekh save them. Anand is working for Karan, the illegitimate son of Inderjit, who wants revenge on the Rajvansh family. Vasundhara is hurt when she learns of her husband's infidelity, but eventually forgives him. Karan tries everything possible to hurt and harass the Rajvansh family, but eventually has a change of heart.
Sadhna gets pregnant and doesn't tell anybody because Ragini had miscarried only a few months ago. Owing to some confusion, Ranvir believes Ragini is pregnant and gets very excited only to realize that it's Sadhna who's pregnant. Ranvir-Ragini, though very happy for Sadhna-Alekh, cannot help but think of their unborn child. They don't have to be sad for long because Ragini also is pregnant. Sadhna has numerous premonitions and nightmares about Ragini's impeding death. Thus she fasts throughout her own pregnancy for Ragini's well-being. Sadhana delivers a baby girl named Khushi. During a pooja (worship) for her last fast, Sadhna dies in a terrorist bombing of the temple where she had gone with Alekh. Ragini hears about the blasts in the temple and goes into labour. The roads are all blocked and it's almost impossible for her to get to a hospital. But eventually she does and her condition is serious. She delivers a girl (named Tamanna) but her internal bleeding refuses to stop. Miraculously, however, it does, and it seems as if God has heard Sadhana's prayers for Ragini and let her live, taking Sadhna to heaven in Ragini's place though. After Sadhana's death, a heart-broken Ragini vows to her father, Prakash Chandra, to treat Khushi, Sadhana's daughter, like her own.
The story takes a seven year leap forward after the death of Sadhana. Khushi and Tamanna (Tammy) are two adorable little girls. Khushi is fair-skinned like Sadhana and Tammy dark like Ragini. Ranvir is dead and Ragini is married to Anmol (Apurva Agnihotri).
Anmol and Ranvir were friends. One day, while they were walking together, some boulders slid down; Ranvir pushed Anmol to safety but was unable to save himself. On his death bed, Ranvir took a promise from Anmol and Ragini that they would get married to each other.
On the other hand, Alekh has once again lost his mental balance after the shock of Sadhana's untimely death. His daughter Khushi is his life. They address each other as 'Dost' (friend) just like Sadhana and Alekh in the past. Khushi is shown to be selfless like Sadhana. Ragini is reminded of her loving sister with each action of Khushi's.
Ragini struggles to share her love equally with both her daughters, and handles everyday life with much courage. There is a very beautiful relationship between Khushi and Ragini. Khushi is like Sadhana, understanding, caring and kind personality. Although Tamanna loves Khushi and is good at heart, she is envious of her at times and people can easily make her believe things that aren't true. Tammy has no idea that Anmol is not her real father, nor has she ever seen a picture of Ranvir. Very rarely does anybody in Rajvansh House mention/remember Ranvir (usually Vasundhara does it to taunt Ragini and Anmol), nor are there any photos of him in the house. This is, of course, what Ranvir wanted. Vasundhara, however, is completely unable to accept Anmol in her son's place and hates him. She also blames Ragini for remarrying, even though she knows that it was Ranvir's wish. Ragini still loves Ranvir and hasn't truly moved on in her life .
Enters a young woman named Sakshi (Sulagna Panigrahi), who stays in "Sadhana Nari Niketan", a shelter run by Prakash Chandra and the Rajvanshs. Vasundhara wants Alekh to remarry and Sakshi agrees to be his wife. Anmol and Ragini don't want Alekh to get re-married. They feel that no woman would marry the mentally-disturbed Alekh unless she had an ulterior motive or was bought off by by Vasundhara. But they agree to give Sakshi a chance. Although Alekh does not want to marry Sakshi, he agrees for the sake of his daughter. Khushi lies to him that, if he marries Sakshi, then Sadhana will return. Sakshi already has a boyfriend, Tarun, and is pregnant with his child. She plans to run away with the bridal jewellery gifted by the Rajvanshs on the day of the marriage, as part of a scheme laid out by Tarun. She is completely oblivious to Tarun's intention of dumping her after getting the valuable jewellery. Ragini almost catches Sakshi red-handed once or twice, but Sakshi, by her tricks, is somehow able to foil Ragini each time. On the day of the marriage, Sakshi flees, but Tarun gets arrested with the jewellery. Now Sakshi returns to the marriage venue, making up a story that Tarun was blackmailing her and she gave him the jewellery to save the Rajvansh reputation. Alekh and Sakshi proceed through the wedding rituals. But before the last round (phera) can be completed, Alekh finds out that Khushi had lied to him about Sadhana's return. He refuses to accept Sakshi as his wife and the ceremony is left unfinished. Nevertheless, Vasundhara takes Sakshi to Rajvansh House and declares her to be Alekh's wife.
Sakshi tries her best to separate Alekh from Khushi, while Ragini tries her best to stop this. Alekh and Khushi patch up eventually, thanks to Ragini's efforts. Meanwhile, Alekh starts working in an ice-cream parlor and tries to become independent for his daughter's sake. Sakshi also wants her unborn child to be given Alekh's name so she tries unsuccessfully to sleep in his room. After seeing how Sakshi mistreats Khushi, Ragini and Tammy team up to teach Sakshi a lesson. This leads to Sakshi blurting out the truth about Ranvir being Tammy's real father. Vasundhara is very angry and slaps Sakshi. At first, Tammy breaks down, but then accepts Anmol as her father. Also, after seeing how much Anmol loves the family, Vasundhara accepts him as his son. Ragini also starts trying to make her relationship with Anmol work (shown symbolically, as she closes the wardrobe door on Ranvir's photo, and starts calling Anmol by his name, and not 'Tammy's papa'.)
Vasundhara learns about Sakshi's pregnancy, and believing that Alekh is responsible for it, brings her back to Rajvansh House. Ragini and Anmol question Alekh and find out that he couldn't have fathered the unborn child. They make a plan and get Tarun bailed out of prison. Sakshi goes to meet Tarun. But he refuses to take any responsibility for their baby and leaves her. Sakshi is heart-broken and feels guilty for mistreating the Rajvansh family. Ragini and Anmol are watching this and feel sorry for Sakshi. Vineet's wife Malti finally brings out the truth about Sakshi before the entire family. Vasundhara wants to throw Sakshi out of the house but Ragini stops her. Alekh is really upset that people try to take advantage of his abnormal condition. He wants to get better for his daughter's sake. He calls Shlok in London and requests him to come to Agra to cure him. Shlok, being the good friend he is, comes to Agra to help Alekh. Vasundhara learns that, despite living together for seven years, Anmol and Ragini do not share a normal relationship as a couple. The two families, with Vasundhara and Kaushalya in the lead, try bringing Anmol and Ragini together, and start to succeed. Anmol and Ragini become much closer and start to fall in love. Meanwhile, Alekh starts taking care of Sakshi as a friend, and Sakshi starts changing for the better.
Behind Shlok comes Shivani, his supposed girlfriend. She was actually Anmol's girl-friend seven years ago. When Anmol's family died in a car accident, instead of comforting him, Shivani chose to go to London for a modelling assignment. Her insensitivity made Anmol break up with her. Upon confronting Anmol now, Shivani tells him she still loves him. However, Anmol tells her that now he belongs with the Rajvansh family, and that she must move on with her life, and marry Shlok. Shivani refuses to believe Anmol doesn't love her and then tries to break him and Ragini up. She convinces Ragini that he loves Shivani, and is just staying in the Rajvansh house to fulfill his duties as husband, father, and son. Ragini asks Anmol to divorce her, lying that she cannot go on with their facade of a marriage. Heartbroken, Anmol agrees for Ragini's sake, and leaves Rajvansh house. Tamanna and Khushi overhear this conversation. In school, they realize that this will mean that Tammy's parents will separate. So they leave the school early without permission, and are kidnapped by Tarun. The children are saved with help from Sakshi and Alekh, while Tarun is arrested.
Alekh decides to marry Sakshi to provide her child with a father's name and care. He makes it clear that, although he will probably never love Sakshi as much as Sadhana, he will keep her and her child happy. Sakshi promises that, although she cannot replace Sadhana in Alekh and Khushi's lives, she will always take good care of them. Tamanna, who is scared that Anmol will leave, requests that he and Ragini should also get re-married. Everyone is getting ready for the twin weddings of Alekh-Sakshi and Anmol-Ragini. However, Ragini doesn't want Anmol to sacrifice his love for his duties, and so plans to get him married to Shivani. Just before the wedding ceremony, Anmol pretends that has lost all his wealth. He asks Shivani (who is disguised in Ragini's bridal veil) to support him. He does this to expose Shivani's true feelings as he is aware of Ragini's plan. Shivani believes his lie and leaves in a huff, refusing to marry a poor man. Ragini realizes that Shivani has never truly loved Anmol. Then Anmol declares his love for Ragini and she accepts him.
Anmol-Ragini and Alekh-Sakshi get married. Prakash Chandra Sharma bids a fond farewell (bidaai) to both brides. The newly-wed couples go and stand before the photos of the deceased Sadhana and Ranvir. Sakshi promises to Sadhana that she will always take care of the family. She says that she will live as Sadhana's shadow and bring up Khushi to be just like her real mother. Anmol tells Ranvir that Ragini and Tammy mean the world to him. He thanks Ranvir for giving him a wife like Ragini and a daughter like Tamanna. He promises to keep the whole family happy.
In the last shot, we see all of the Sharma and Rajvansh family members together, meeting one another, and waving to the audience for the last time. In the last scene, Prakash Chandra Sharma thanks the viewers for being with Bidaai always, since the past 3 years, through thick and thin. He thanks the audience for sharing a smile through their happy times, and crying with them in their sorrows. He also says that maybe one day, they may return, like a new mausam (season). He says that one day, the stories of Khushi and Tammy's lives may also be presented to the viewer, in the same way we were presented with the beautiful story of Ragini and Sadhna. Ragini gives the introduction of the new show, Gulaal, that is going to replace Bidaai. And that is the end of the hit TV drama Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai.
Bidaai ends with Ragini-Anmol and Alekh-Sakshi’s marriage Vasu and Ragini are shocked on learning about Tamanna and Kushi's abduction. Vineet insists on accompanying Alekh to handover the ransom money. Ragini calls Anmol and informs him about Tarun and Sakshi's plan. Tarun reveals to Sakshi about Anmol's pretention of being affectionate towards her. Sakshi tries to defend the children from Tarun. Alekh and Vineet beat Tarun while Anmol saves Sakshi and the children. Tarun gets arrested. Everyone is happy to see Kushi and Tamanna return home safely. Alekh seeks Vasu's permission to marry Sakshi. Tamanna wishes to see Ragini and Anmol's marriage along with Alekh and Sakshi's. Everyone agrees with Tamanna. Ragini gives her consent to marry Anmol. Ragini feels Anmol is sacrificing his happiness for Tamanna and tells Shivani to marry Anmol. Vasu and her family members are surprised with Suhana and Ishaan's visit at the wedding. Everyone welcomes Akshara, Naitik and Nivedita at the marriage. Ragini exchanges her bride wear with Shivani. The baarat arrives. Everyone is shocked when Anmol tells them that his Manager has deceived him by taking his signature on the power of attorney. Anmol informs Shivani about his loss. Everyone is stunned to see Shivani refusing to marry Anmol as he lost his property. Anmol unveils Shivani's true colours through this drama. Anmol confesses his love for Ragini. Ragini gives her consent to marry Anmol. Everyone is happy with Alekh and Anmol's marriage. Sharma thanks the viewers for making Bidaai a successful show. Ragini informs the viewers about the upcoming show 'Gulaal'.
Ragini’s decision shocks Anmol:Ep 737 Sharma's family members are surprised with Ragini's visit. Sharma sees Ragini depressed and questions her. Ragini decides to break up with Anmol as she doesn’t want Anmol to lose Shivani. Anmol visits Sharma's house to pick up Ragini. Anmol is shocked when Ragini insists on ending her relationship with him. He breaks into tears and declares that he doesn’t want to lose her. Alekh finds Shivani overhearing Anmol and Ragini's conversation. Anmol is upset, thinking of the days spent with Ragini. Shivani sees Anmol upset and pretends to be close to him in front of Ragini. Shlok learns about Shivani's refusal to accept him. Shivani refuses to accept Shlok's ring and declares that she is unable to forget her first love. Ragini is upset with Anmol's decision to leave Rajvansh. Anmol requests Ragini to change her decision, but Ragini insists on breaking up with him as she doesn’t want him to sacrifice his happiness for her. Anmol is shocked when Ragini insists that he sign their divorce papers.
Ragini learns of Anmol’s past Ragini overhears Anmol insisting Shivani to conceal the secret, and gets upset. Sharma returns from Delhi. Kaushalya is happy when Vasu tells her about Tamanna's demand for a baby brother from Ragini. Anmol is excited to learn of Tamanna's demand. Shivani is enraged on learning of Anmol's interest in fulfilling Tamanna's demand. Sakshi is moved when Alekh insists on taking her to the doctor. Ragini decides to clear the confusion by learning the truth from Shivani. Shlok requests Ragini to speak with Shivani and learn about her consent for marriage. Ragini breaks into tears when Shivani reveals to her about her past. Tarun is furious to see Sakshi breaking up with him. Vasu is furious to spot Sakshi with Tarun and mistakes her. She insists that Sakshi leave the house. Sakshi promises to leave after Diwali, as she wishes to complete Tamanna and Khushi's Diwali project. Anmol clarifies that he has decided to forget his past, when Ragini questions him.
Shlok’s request to Ragini Shlok surprises Kaushalya and Malti with Shivani's visit. Everyone is shocked when Shivani tells them that she doesn’t like Shlok. Shlok manages to handle the situation. Anmol is lost in thoughts about Ragini. Shivani confronts Anmol and tells him that she is aware of his not being intimate with Ragini. Anmol is furious at Shivani and declares that he loves Ragini. Shlok tells Ragini that he loves Shivani and wishes to marry her. He requests Ragini to learn whether Shivani likes him. Ragini is surprised to see Anmol's pendant and letter. Vasu convinces Tamanna and Khushi to demand a brother from Ragini. Ragini accepts Anmol's gift. Shivani approaches Anmol and tells him that she has decided to marry Shlok. She hugs Anmol on seeing Ragini. Ragini gets upset.
Shivani is surprised Everyone is excited when Ragini tells them that she has signed the dance competition form. Shivani is happy thinking that Anmol has invited her for dinner. She is shocked to see Shlok at the restaurant and learns about his surprise invitation for dinner. Malti talks to Ragini about the dance competition. Ragini and Anmol agree to learn dance from a dance teacher. Tamanna and Khushi defend Kavya on seeing his friends ragging him. Ragini and Anmol learn dancing. The dance teacher teaches dance to Malti and Vineet as well. Sakshi is furious to see Tarun befriending Khushi and Tamanna. She warns Tarun. Tarun is upset as his dreams of becoming a rich man are shattered when Anmol asks him to end his drama. Sakshi warns the children not to speak with Tarun. Shlok takes Shivani to Malti's house, but insists that she wait at her doorsteps. Shivani overhears Kaushalya telling Vasu that Anmol and Ragini were lost in each other while learning dancing. She is surprised to learn that Anmol and Ragini are not close to each other.
Shivani schemes to separate Anmol and Ragini Shivani reveals Anmol's past life to Ragini. She tells Ragini know about Anmol's interest in dancing. Ragini comes to know that Anmol is pretending to be happy because of her and Tamanna by sacrificing his interest. Shivani is happy, thinking that her first plan to separate Ragini and Anmol is turning successful. Alekh insists that Shlok not delay his marriage with Shivani. Tamanna and Khushi force Anmol to sign the competition form. Anmol is stunned to see a person delivering a bouquet to him. He places the bouquet in Shivani's room thinking that it is her plan. Ragini sees Sakshi upset and questions her. Sakshi lets Ragini know that Tarun is trying to come back into her life. Ragini is happy when Sakshi insists on breaking up with Tarun and accepting her present life. Sakshi is excited when Alekh gifts her baby pictures. Ragini tells Anmol about Sakshi's changed attitude. She wishes to see Anmol happy. Shivani misunderstands that the bouquet in her room is from Anmol to her.
Shivani is angry with Anmol Sakshi lets Ragini know about her decision to leave Rajvansh, but Ragini doesn’t allow her to do so. Shivani gets frustrated waiting for Anmol at the restaurant. Anmol calls Ragini and lets her know about a change in his plan. Shivani is shocked to see Anmol stepping into the restaurant with Ragini. She is upset to see Anmol's special attention towards Ragini. Ragini insists on sharing lunch with Anmol and Shivani. Shivani is furious to see Anmol paying attention to Ragini's favourite dishes. Vasu and Kaushalya decide to convince Ragini and Anmol to participate in a dance competition in order to bring them closer. Shivani confronts Anmol and insists him to start a fresh life with her, but he clarifies that he is now Ragini's husband. Sakshi is shocked to meet Tarun at the hospital. She is furious on seeing him apologising to her. Tamanna and Khushi request Anmol and Ragini to participate in the dance competition, but Ragini refuses to do so.
Sadhana and Ragini’s gaud bharai Vasu wishes to organize Sadhana and Ragini’s gaud bharai ceremony at Rajvansh House. Sadhana wakes up scared when she dreams of Ragini falling off the stairs. Sadhana is shocked to see Vasu gifting her and Ragini exactly the same clothes and jewellery as she had in her dream. Alekh pacifies Sadhana. Sadhana hopes for her dream not to come true. Everyone is happy. The gaud bharai ceremony begins. Ranvir, Alekh and Vineet bring Indrajeet and Sharma to the ceremony, who convince the ladies that they also wish to be present. Everyone happily carries out the rituals.
Sadhana again dreams of Ragini Malti gets tense on hearing from Vineet that their company is downsizing. Sadhana is shocked to see Ragini wearing the same bangles as the ones she dreamt of. She gets scared when Ragini is about to climb down the stairs. She requests Ragini to shift to the ground floor of their house. Sadhana again has a dream about Ragini meeting with an accident. Ragini slips on a toy car and is about to fall, but Ranvir catches her. Sadhana gets very scared.
Sadhana delivers a girl child Ragini and Sadhana are happy to visit Kaushalya's house and relish a special dish made by her. Sharma's family members are excited with Vineet's promotion. Sadhana is shocked to see Ragini sitting in Vineet's new car. She rushes to stop Vineet from starting the car and rescues Ragini. Everyone is shocked to see Sadhana suffering from labour pain. Sadhana delivers a girl baby. Sadhana again has a bad dream about Ragini.
Sadhana is caught in a bomb blast Sadhana is scared when she dreams about Ragini's demise. Sadhana stops Ragini from wearing the same bangles as she dreamt of. Everyone is happy when Alekh’s baby is christened Khushi. Ragini feels unwell, but pretends to be alright. Sadhana leaves Khushi with Ragini and goes with Alekh to the temple to complete her fast. Ranvir and his family are shocked to know about a sudden red alert in the city. Ragini falls down from the staircase on hearing the shocking news. Sadhana is stunned to hear this. Ragini, Vineet and Ranvir are on the way to the hospital. Alekh and Sadhana get stuck in the curfew. Sadhana waits for Alekh, who has gone to fetch a taxi, in spite of a bomb scare. Vineet loses control and rams his car into a tree. Alekh is shocked to see Sadhana caught in a bomb blast.
Sadhana passes away Alekh is glad to see Sadhana alive. A police officer helps Ranvir and Vineet take Ragini to the hospital. Vineet informs Kaushalya about Ragini's condition. Ranvir talks to Vasu and Indrajeet. Ranvir is furious when the doctor fails to assure Ragini's survival. Indrajeet learns that Alekh and Sadhana are out of danger. Sadhana again gets caught in a bomb blast when she tries to save a little girl. Alekh is shocked. Ragini gives birth to a healthy girl. Alekh is shocked to see her bleeding profusely. Sadhana passes away after handing over the temple prasad to Alekh.
Sharma is shocked Sharma and Kaushalya are tense to hear that Ragini is in a critical condition. Everyone is happy when Ragini suddenly recovers miraculously. Indrajeet assures everyone of Alekh and Sadhana’s safety. Sharma learns that the only victim of the bomb blasts has been brought to the same hospital and that her husband is very upset. Sharma goes to meet the husband, and is shocked to see that it is Alekh and that Sadhana is dead. Indrajeet calls the police and enquires about Alekh and Sadhana.
Sadhana’s final BIDAAI! Sharma is upset with Sadhana's demise and accuses Alekh. Everyone is shocked to see Sadhana dead. Ragini regains consciousness and wishes to see Sadhana. Ranvir conceals the truth from her. Ragini enquires about Sadhana and tells Ranvir that Sadhana had come to give her prasad. Vasu is upset to see Alekh in a state of shock. The Rajvansh family is worried about Ragini's reaction to Sadhana's death. Sharma declares that they should tell Ragini the truth. Both the families are in grief while performing Sadhana's final bidaai.

He is disappointed when he cannot provide happiness to his parents and wife and get them what they want. He is a simple and straightforward person, who is largely satisfied with the way of his living.
